LAS VEGAS BALLPARK BRINGS BASEBALL TO SUMMERLIN

HOW ONE LEAGUE IS GIVING BACK TO YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY

We’re well into spring and you know what that means: Baseball is back in season! Sometimes it’s nice to take a little break from batting practice to spend the day out at the ballpark with the family. At Rude American, there’s nothing we love more than seeing baseball alive and well and  one of Las Vegas’ longest running sports teams just had a new stadium built in the heart of West Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Aviators (affectionately remembered as the Las Vegas 51s), opened up the 2019 Triple A season at their new ballpark, Las Vegas Ballpark, in Downtown Summerlin.

The $150 million ballpark is one that is truly worthy of the glamorous Las Vegas skyline. With a maximum capacity of 10,000 fans, Las Vegas Ballpark has some amenities that aren’t so common in ballparks around the nation, like the swimming pool just beyond the left-center fence that holds 50 people and costs $2,000 to use. Las Vegas Ballpark also has 22 suites and party decks on either side of the park that can accommodate up to 400 fans each.

The hope is that the Las Vegas Aviators and Las Vegas Ballpark represent the new face of Triple-A baseball by presenting for a more upscale and top of the line ballpark, one that is better equipped than some Major League ballparks.  

The Las Vegas Aviators will play a total of 70 home games from April through August. The remaining home schedule for the Las Vegas Aviators will be:

May 3-6 vs. Fresno Grizzlies

May 7-10 vs. Salt Lake Bees

May 11-14 vs. Tacoma Rainiers

May 21-24 vs. Albuquerque Isotopes

June 4-6 vs. Round Rock Express

June 7-10 vs. San Antonio Missions

June 20-24 vs. Sacramento River Cats

June 29 – July 3 vs. Reno Aces

July 11-14 vs. Salt Lake Bees

July 23-25 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas

July 30 – August 1 vs. New Orleans Baby Cakes

August 2-5 vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers

August 15-18 vs. Albuquerque Isotopes

August 19-21 vs. Reno Aces

August 30 – September 2 vs. Tacoma Rainiers
